Hillary Rodham Clinton did a great job expressing her wants for the country and taking a firm stand that Democrats must unite. Still I didn't feel the sincerity and I am sure the 25% of people that are Hillary supporters who say they will either not vote or vote for McCain were not convinced. I mean I do not understand how you can go from voting for Hillary to voting for McCain. Like Hillary said last night "NO WAY, NO HOW, NO MCCAIN", I mean we are Democrats and at the end of the day if Hillary was on the winning end, I would have still voted for her despite my dislike of her arrogance. Hillary took attack on the Republicans and I admired that. She let us know that we can have another 4 years of the last 8years. I think that is a problem that I often have with Democrats, we are afraid to speak out against Republicans but they will quickly throw us under a bus without a second thought.
Hillary expressed that Barack was her candidate and just like her husband, former president Bill Clinton, he has what it takes to turn around the economy and make America better. I don't know why she still pisses me off even though her speech was great, she just rubs me the wrong way! Maybe because I sense that she is fake as hell and I even lost some respect for Bill too during the campaign with his shady racist antics. However I am looking forward to his speech tonight and Biden who I hope will get in some Republican ass.

Beyonce looking like someone's mama and well Solange, I know you want to be different but you are doin way too much boo boo! Get out of your tacky ass Mama's closet because sorry her styling is not hot. Have you walked through the House of Dereon's section in Macys? It is horrible - leather patches, lace, and jean jumpers...Jenny from the block was rocking that a few years and not enough time has passed to bring them back. Michelle Obama completely wowed me last night as she opened the Democratic National Convention. I have been impressed by her numerous times before but last night sealed the deal that Michelle is the definition of class and grace. She is a well-suited first lady and a incredible representation of African American women. Her speech brought tears to my eyes as her words resounded loudly within my heart and soul. As I walked the street this morning on the way to work, I heard many other women saying the same exact thing.
Her speech couldn't have been more perfect, the way she spoke about struggle, family values, and the America dream that assures us all that anything is possible. Her words were passionate and poignant much like her character. I actually watched an interview she did with TV One afterwards and they played a clip of her on the campaign trail where she was speaking on Barack voting against the war. She said even though it wasn't what everyone else was doing, he knew that it was the wrong decision for us to go to war. Then she passionately responded, "He was right because he is special, he has lived a broad life." The tone of her voice in that previously speaking engagement solidified what many of us are thinking that this man is a Godsent. He has been sent to give us hope, sent to bring about change in a world that is often held down by its own ignorance and prejudice, and sent to unify a nation.
In the interview, she also said she has seen the fighters of the civil rights movement on the campaign ropes fall to their knees because they were happy to be alive to see the day. You know, Barack Obama will be the first African American to accept the nomination for presidency. Ironically this will happen on the 45th anniversary of the March on Washington and the anniversary of the death of Emmitt Till. The dream that Martin spoke about on that day is being fulfilled as a black man becomes the Democratic contender for the highest office in the nation. The anniversary of a senseless death that resulted from the ignorance of whites who believed a black man's life was worthless now showing that some of their race has progressed enough to take a chance on change.
As Michelle said last night, it is when "the current of history meets the new tide of hope". Those words were incredibly profound and one of the most memorable moments of the night. Another moment was when she fervently told the crowd that "the world as it is just won't do" and assured us that "Barack's word is his bond". It couldn't have been more perfect when Barack came on the screen praising his wife and those adorable kids professing love to their father...I fell even more in love with The Obamas and saw the change that this country needs!
Y'all know I loves some Rih Rih and Chris who have been all over LA LA land. Word has it that RIH will be playin his leading lady in the upcoming Chris Breezy Video and you know your girl will be keeping that video on replay! We all know Uncle Sam is not willing to give up his cut of TI's money but yet the government basically tell him that we could give a F&*K about your political opinion. CRAZINESS!

After embarassing ourselves, we are now back on top and GOLD MEDAL WINNERS in this year's men basketball. I am so proud of our team and I am sure for the fellas that it is just a tremendous honor to be apart of something so historic! Even though, they barely made it passed Spain...we did it! The key was they played as a team not as individual superstars! We are on top now and I am looking to the 2012 when we do it all again.

Obama selected Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware late Friday night Aug. 22, 2008 to be his vice presidential running mate, according to a Democratic official, balancing his ticket with an older congressional veteran well-versed in foreign and defense issues. I am happy to see he did not go Hillary because we know the Mafia Clintons would have had a price on his head! Anyway I am happy with his pick and actually favored Biden throughout his deliberation.
Also tonight all eyes will be on Michelle Obama as she opens up the Democratic National Convention.
I can't wait to see her in action. Michelle Obama is a class act with the smarts and the charisma to wow any crowd. All aboard because this train is not stoppin until we reach the White House. OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA!
