Of course, I received the news a little earlier than everyone else but I was happy to hear when it was all set in stone that my fam would be returning to DC. He signed a 4-year 50 million dollar deal and trust that he is worth every penny. He was second behind KG in Double Doubles last season with a career year and he is just one of the most charismatic people in the NBA. His game speaks volumes so that he doesn't have to and his leadership is talked about throughout the league.

Still I am a little worried about this 100 mil we are going to drop on Gil, I mean has he really proven that he is worth all of that money or has he just shown that he can put people in the seats at the Verizon Center? Will this be another Juwan Howard situation where we max him and then we are stuck with a bust. Hmmmm....lets hope not especially since Antawn is coming back. LET'S GET IT WIZARDS...CARON, ANTAWN, and a healthy GIL with a tight big man could be what we need to get our WIZ on top!
