This past weekend, Detroit Pistons' Jarvis Hayes wedded his longtime girlfriend, Illia Miles. The two met while attending University of Georgia and have been inseparable every since. I got to know Illia very well while she was in the Washington area because Hayes was a Wizards last season. She is an amazing individual with a kind spirit to match. The reception took place at the five-star Intercontinental Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. Jarvis is from the Atlanta area and Illia is a Carolina girl. Both of them embody southern charm and class, you can tell by the kind of people they are and also by the fabulousness of the reception. I was invited but unable to attend and it looks like I missed out on a helluva wedding celebration.
