I am loving that CNN is now focusing on the culture of life for Black Americans in America. They have a three part series including the King Assassination. Tonight at 9pm, please tune in for the segment on THE BLACK MAN. You see Barack's nomination is already opening up the conversation and the media is finally taking a serious step by looking at the reality of blacks both educated and uneducated. Last night, I caught the last half of the segment on Black Women and their family. It was definitely a realistic depiction of what the lives of black women entails. The special opened the discussion about black women being the primary carriers today of the HIV virus, successful educated black women that are surpassing many black men who are either uneducated or incarcerated, and the single mothers who are struggling just to pay the rent. They even touched a bit on interracial marriage and the fact that almost 45% less black women get married than white women. The statistics are not startling to me because I live it everyday..Hey I decided a while ago to open my eyes to some other shades of color! Still they do startle some Americans who have no idea what it is like for many black women. Anyway tonight they are focusing on the BLACK MAN and I encourage both sisters and brothers to tune in. I dvr'd last night so I will be catch up on the complete series. THANKS CNN for "KEEPIN EM HONEST"!
While over at FOX, NAS had to get NASTY on them for their racial antics....YOU ARE GOING DOWN FOX! The rapper/activist along with the MoveOn.org had over 600,000 signatures on their petition to end the racist foolery that constantly keeps happening on FOX...The Ring Leader #1 is Bill O'Reilly's ignorant butt!
