TRADING PLACES!

Looks like Golden State will be saying goodbye to Baron Davis who recently signed with the LA Clippers. Seems as though the Warriors did not come up with an offer for Baron who is a native of the Bay Area and his agent said "he would have liked to remain a Warrior". But in the end, you know it is all about those dolla figures and well Baron Davis is getting a great deal of 5 years for $65 million dollars. While Elton Brand leaves the Clippers and heads off to Philly to play for the Sixers with a five-year and $82 mil deal. Luckily Chris Kaman will remain with the Clippers and hopefully Baron will be able to make a run into the playoffs. But we all know the Western Conference has some very fierce competition and with Brand in the Eastern Conference, we just got a little stronger. I fear the Lakers this year cuz Bynum is coming back into the lineup so we definitely need to be on the lookout for them to handle business this season.

Also while the Wizards are holding on to Antawn Jamison and offering Gilbert Arenas a max deal of $111 million over 6 years, they are losing Roger Mason, Jr. to the San Antonio Spurs. We will miss you Roger who had a career season last year and was great coming off of the bench. Roger got $7.3 million for two years which actually works out very well for him. He is also getting married this August to his longtime sweetheart who happens to be extremely beautiful, sweet, and a Harvard Law Grad..Ms. Lauren. Congrats to you both.
