Oh yes...It is true! Christian Keyes is the finest dude on the entire planet as far as I am concerned. I have watched that damn Keri Hilson video about 500 hundred times just to keep getting a glimpse of his fine ass. OMG! I saw him first when he appeared in Tyler Perry's play, Madea Goes to Jail, and trust that I have been on it ever since then. I am telling you ladies that the fineness might be too much for you to handle. I have never been starstruck but I swear this dude has struck me...in all kinds of place!

This book is a wonderful guide for those ladies who have been discouraged or overwhelmed by the stress of life and the decisions they have made previously. This book lets you know that it is never too late to live a life you love. Natasha Munson touched me with every word and motivated me to determine the outcome of my life. Her mantra states, "You were born into greatness, conditioned into mediocrity and it is my mission to let you know how powerful you truly are. You are NOT a victim of circumstances. You are a CREATOR of life. You are PHENOMENAL!" Well I am a believer! I particularly enjoyed the section about the opinions of others and how when you listen to other people's opinions then you are relinquishing control over your life. She states that the only opinion that truly matters is the one you have of yourself. RIGHT ON SISTER! Forget what everyone else has to say and listen to your intuition, it is God speaking to you. Natasha has provided me with life lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

She also has another book that I plan to pick up this week called, Spiritual Lessons for My Sisters and then in August 2008, she is releasing her latest book - Love Lessons for My Sisters. Even if everything seems perfect in your world ladies, I believe this book is still an excellent tool to keep it that way.

Chris Webber's Annual Bada Bling Event!

All the celebs, ballers and ballers' wives were in attendance at Chris Webber's Annual Bada Bling Event. Well you know I would have been there but Chris decided to bring that Ericka chick and the thought of those two together....LOL!! Just kiddin...anyway it is a great event to raise money for the Chris Webber Foundation and the money will more than likely go to funding Chris Webber's project to build ten schools throughout the country. The event was held in Las Vegas at the Planet Hollywood. Everyone was looking great and there was definitely some nice eye candy in the party too....HOLLA IF YOU HEAR ME!

MY PRAYERS GO OUT!

My prayers go out to the family of Akira Johnson, a 10 year old girl, who is still missing from the tragedy that hit Long Island beaches this weekend. Her family is pictured above with her 10 year cousin who was rescued the same day. There was strong rip current that caused four people to lose their lives this weekend and three others are currently listed as missing. The strong current brought waves that were nearly 8 feet high and authorities say they have never seen so many incidents happen back to back. Coney Island is a beach and a amusement park located in the borough of Brooklyn. A popular venue in the city especially during the summer months.


Also the funeral of DJ K Swift aka Khia Edgerton (pictured above) was held this weekend at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD. The Baltimore native was twenty-nine years old and died from a swimming accident at her home. She has a very special place in the heart of my family as well, she grew up across the street from my aunt's house in Randallstown, a middle class black neighborhood in Baltimore County. My family and I remember Khia coming to swim at her home with us throughout the summer growing up. Khia went on to become a successful DJ and a survivor who overcame many obstacles including losing over 170 pounds and assisting her father beat his addiction to drugs. Please keep her family and loved ones in your prayers.

Rest in Peace...your legacy and spirit will keep you with us eternally.

Bravo is back with some more housewives and this time they are from the A-TOWN. You already know this is going to be the hotness shawty! The Real Housewives of Atlanta special debuts on July 30th at midnight so if you can't stay up late then please set your TIVO or DVR cuz this joint is about to the damn jumpoff. The season start date has not yet been released. I am happy to see some black rich chicks showin em how to be rich, fabulous, and full of drama. They do have one bunny in the mix....we will see how she gets along with the rest of the ladies. CAN'T WAIT!

This is actually one of my favorite tracks on Gnarls Barkley's last album, The Odd Couple, because the other songs were just a little bit too weird for me this time around. Maybe the third album will get me back hardcore like I was with the first one, St. Elsewhere. This track is called WHO IS GONNA SAVE MY SOUL NOW? I am loving this video and the concept. It starts off with a black girl breaking up with her white boy using the ever common excuse, IT IS NOT YOU...ITS ME! Yeah right, thats bullshit. Anyway it proceeds with him taking his heart out with a knife and handing it over to her then explaining why he will never have another good relationshp again. This is something that commonly happens to most guys who become scorn by one woman and then it messes the whole game up for every other woman that follows. Or they could just be an asshole PERIOD. :)

PAULA PATTON REDEEMED FROM GIRL BYE!

Well you know I unfortunately had to put beautiful Paula Patton in the Girl Bye section of the site for this horrible outfit. But I knew she would redeem herself from that monstrosity and here she is in a beautiful orange dress. She looks absolutely gorgeous and her man stays looking hella fine. Anyway they were out for the premiere of Swing Vote in LA LA land. All I have to say is thank you girl for representing, I was getting much heat about putting one of the most beautiful girls in Hollywood in Girl Bye.

So it looks like FABOLOUS is a proud papa to a new little boy. He has posted pics of him and his new son all over his myspace. Now the scoop is being leaked on the baby mama, Emily, who is BFF's with Valeisha Butterfield - CAU alum, ex fiancee to Game, and Director of the WEEN (Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network). Seems like both the ladies have a thing for rappers. Emily is said to also have a 10-year old from a previous relationship but her and Mr. F A B O have no plans to get married or engaged. WHO IS SHOCKED?

She had many thinking that Lauryn Hill was making a comeback and others wondering who is this chick hitting every single note so perfectly? It is Jazmine Sullivan and her single, "Need U Bad", is the hottest joint on the radio right now. She is a Philly Native who has a voice just as beautiful as her. Of course, she started off singing gospel like most great singers do and even appeared on the Apollo when she was eleven years old. You have got to hear her singing her latest single, In Love with Another Man, to a group over at Seventeen magazine...all she has is her voice and the piano backing her up....this chick sounds flawless. LOVES HER!
