I have been pretty down in the dumps as the year is coming to an end. I really miss my mom who recently relocated to Las Vegas. Also I have been overly worrying about these pimples/scars on my face, things I need to take care of, and life's ups and downs. However I know there are people out here dealing with so much more than me and it is best to smile because these pimples will eventually fade, my ish will get handled, and well life is up and down. As I get ready to spend my first Xmas ever in my entire life without my mother, I just think I have so much work to do and no time for sadness or madness. Everyday I live it is to make the lives of the ones I love even better and........

I don't want my mother to have to spend another Xmas without me!

The Birth of LoveQueen!

Guess Who's Bizzzack..LOVEQUEEN formerly known as Cristi Dianne. A lot has happened since I stopped blogging about a year and a half ago and as you all know, life has kept going with its ups and downs. These are the times of a skyrocketing unemployment rates, nationwide foreclosures, stolen savings, oil spills, continuous threats of terror, war and natural disasters. Some of these problems have hit very close to home for me and people in my family. I was personally affected by the downward economy when I lost my job of 5 years in blink of an eye and to much surprise. I often think back on that day and the moment when I walked out of my former office with no hope of finding anything new and a question of how will this change my life? I could have never foreseen all the ways that it did and I know it is by God's favor and mercy that I made it thru those difficult days. As a human, I was having a hard time seeing the light through the darkness but as a child of God, I never truly lost faith. Also I am a Cancer and we are known for being incredibly tenacious. One of my many sayings is I am like a cat so I will always land on my feet and I did. With prayers and the support of my family and friends, I found a new job with a Fortune 500 company in exactly one month to the date I got laid off. GOD'S WORK!

Still I couldn't help but feel a void for personal reasons. I was once again caught up in a romantic situation where I was the pursuer and not the pursued. And foolishly, I continued to pursue that situation even tho my better judgment told me to run not walk away. He became what I call a Cristi Idol, someone who I idolized but judged me, wanted me to change, and didn't deem me worth of him. I let him consume me--my time, my energy and my thoughts. This was our third try and well each time I was hopeful that it would get better. Initially I disguised my feelings with friendship but before long, I was open. I knew it and so did he because he used those feelings to take advantage of me. He required of me girlfriend duties but with side bitch say and I desperately complied. Tightly I held on to the fact that he was treating me better than he had the times before but deep down, I knew it still wasn't what I wanted. There was no place I was content even when it came down to us being sexual, I wasn't pleased on any level yet I was there, wanting and willing to love him. I know I was trippin right...I guess I love the chase just like many men do. On a positive note, this third time around I made no room for him to be on that disrespectful bulls*it. And the moment I felt completely disrespected by him was the moment that I vowed to walk away and never look back.

However it was the everyday missing an idea of him and still choosing to love me more that sparked the birth of LoveQueen. I looked down on my tatted body at the mantras that I had placed on me permanently because I once vowed to live by them. One of my tats has a huge heart with LIFE written beneath it to symbolize LOVE LIFE and the other one is on the inside of my wrist with a heart followed by the word, YOU to symbolize LOVE YOU above anything else. I recognize that I am the rare breed that lives to love. I don't live to make money, I don't live for a fancy house or a dope ride, I live for the love of my friends, my family, and one day for the love of a significant other who I will eventually create children with. They will be the products of our shared love. And because I am a LoveQueen, I don't fret about currently being single because I pray on my spirit of patience that makes me content. I patiently await God's preparing of a man filled with enough love to match the kind I possess.

LoveQueen was born July 17, 2010 and will live until the day I die. She is strong, powerful, unafraid to let people go, loving, faithfully and fearless. She doesn't pretend to be something that she is not. She doesn't allow the judgments of what others think to affect what she thinks about herself. She is outside the lines, grinding and progressing. Chris Brown is saying that Rihanna striked him first in the car and this is the first time he has ever snapped back. He is also saying that Rih got pissed about the text message and start punching him as well as kirking out in the car. They are saying that the message he left on the voicemail of Rih's assistant after the incident is an admission of guilty. Dayum, I don't know who to believe? I do know that Chris Brown is fine as hell and talented as a mug but it is not acceptable ever to beat someone the way they described in the affadavit.

FYI, I am CERTIFIED HELLA CRUNK about LOVE VS MONEY by THE DREAM. It hits the store tomorrow and let me tell you that I will be on itunes at midnight. I told you it is not a game. Recently he released his second single and video off the album, MY LOVE, with Mariah Carey. This is probably one of my favorite songs of the year and well the year just started and I also need to hear the rest of the album. I adore THE DREAM and a real supporter of his moment. Reviews have come and it is being called a "superb sophomore effort." DUH...I didn't expect any less.

Oprah finally shares the cover of her magazine and it is with no one other than the First Lady herself, Michelle Obama. I absolutely love it. Inside the magazine, Michelle lets Oprah tour the White House and she also talks about when it truly hit her that she lived in the White House. She said after inauguration and all of her guest had left, the reality hit her that they lived in the White House and Barack's job was President of the United States of America.

She also says that she not raising spoil kids and the White House staff has been instructed to not cater to them hand and foot. They have chores and responsibilities just like other kids their age. This is her way of keeping them grounded. I LOVE IT!

Our First Lady was also connecting with the Washington, DC community and put her apron to serve food at a soup kitchen, Miriam's Kitchen. Miriam's Kitchen services over 250 homeless men and women.

Dayum dude is so fine but I am so disappointed that he is a woman beater. Anyway Chris Brown showed up for his court date yesterday and he was formally charged with two felony counts, criminal threat and assault producing bodily harm. He asked for a continuance and it was granted for April 6th. He also did not enter a plea for the incident.

His mother was there to support her son.

This story is truly a hot mess and very sad at the same time.

Rihanna's attorney, Donald Etra, refused the no-contact order and said that Rihanna is okay with the first protective order that the judge read in court saying that Chris can not “annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone.”

Say it ain't so! Today is Chris' day in court and Rih Rih is refusing to testify. To no surprise, she is planning to ride for her man or is he now her husband? Rumors are surfacing that the two alledegedly became engaged while on Star Island and could have possibly tied the knot already. This is foolery at the highest level and I am going to need Chris or Rih to speak on something ASAP. Also because of Rih's ride or die stance, it looks like the DA will have to convict Chris without her testimony....who wants to bet that he gets slapped with some community service? This is LA LA land and he is a celebrity with his career on the brink.

The US Coast Guard has suspended the search for the missing NFL players and other passenger on the boat. Corey Smith and Marquis Cooper, two NFL players, have yet to be found off the Gulf of Mexico. The only thing they have found is an empty life jacket and a food cooler. There was one sole survivor of the fishing trip gone bad and he is currently being treated for his injuries. Reports are saying that even the healthiest person could not survive the hypothermia that would occur as a result of the water's temperature so may they rest in peace.

Now I can't lie, there was definitely a buzz going around this show, Harlem Heights, a reality show about 8 twenty-something professionals living in the Harlem. This is basically the Clark and Spelman show because there were a few familiar face from the AUC (Atlanta University Center). Anyway I am not feeling this joint, BET tries hard but something is always not quite right. The drama is wack and the people are corny...everyone's fashion is doing hella too much. Briana, the chick who is the technical director at LOVE PINK for Victoria's Secret, is a big ass bamma but for some reason she poses a slight resemble to a certain VH1 News Correspondent...hmmmmm! (pictured below in the red and black dress)

I am tired of these random racist incidents occurring due to our black president being in office. Come on, let's at least get more clever than MONKEYS. Earlier this week, TMZ released this picture of Rih Rih after she got Chris Brown'd. Poor girl, looks like he was whippin all up on her. Still I do believe there is a whole other story behind this incident that has yet to surface. I mean you can't punch a man like a man and not expect to get hit back by one. Then on the other hand, his actions are truly unacceptable. The charismatic, overly confident Brown may have committed career suicide if Rih Rih doesn't enlighten us on what role she played in the incident. We are all staying tuned as the details continue unfold. Both have spoken out, Brown expressing his deepest apologies and Rih is also letting her fans know that she is doing well but she refused to comment on the incident with Brown.

According to reports off of TMZ.com, Chris received a text message from a woman about hooking up later. This is what started the fight that left Rihanna bruised and bloody in the car. Law enforcement sources say:

Chris Brown allegedly hit Rihanna so hard with his fists, she could barely open her eyes for the photos -- they were almost completely swollen shut. She had a fat lip, her mouth was swollen, her nose was badly bloodied, and she had contusions on her forehead and both sides of her face.

Wrigley issued a statement saying, ""We have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved."

I just have to say that I am not impressed by the Grammy outfits this year at all and especially for the after party festivities. Here are some photos of the couple before the incident happened. Rihanna, whose government is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, has been named as the victim. Also she apparently was seen at the LAPD with several bruises on her face.

Also I know domestic violence is not a joke so please don't take it as if I am not making light of it. Now they are saying as of late, the relationship between Rihanna and Chris had become very heated. Speculations over an STD (Rihanna was spotted with a cold sore on her mouth last week - she might have that H-Bomb) then there is also speculations of another person being in the picture so this resulted in the jealous rage that occurred. Chris' charges actually carry a nine year prison term and I just pray that they get it right. The LAPD is expected to hold a briefing on the incident. This is truly shameful and I hope it gets worked out quickly. Will keep you posted as more details come in......

By far one of the highlights of the evening was Jennifer Hudson. Here she is pictured with her fiancee, David "Punk" Otunga. She looked fabulous in this beautiful Roland Mouret dress. I couldn't help but sense a sadness over her. Her performance was absolutely amazing, it definitely brought me to tears as she took us back to her gospel roots. It was incredibly touching and she even got emotional towards the end. God bless her but I know that adversity builds character and strength...she has a faith and knows that God doesn't make any mistakes. He will continue to "pull her through".

The 51st Grammy Awards arrivals brought only one or two fashion hits and rest were SERIOUS MISSES!

One of my favs of the night was someone not even in the spotlight. It was former Destiny Child member and one hit having, LeToya Luckett. She looked absolutely adorable to me. I love the pink and the pale blue colored shoe...HOT LOOK!

And this is actually a shock to even myself but Tiny was looking pretty good in her sequin Herve Ledger dress. Still we know even nice stuff looks hood fab on Tiny but hey it is way better than what we have seen before. I will not be looking at Tiny the same after that video interview she did with Mrs. Jamie Foster Brown. I will posted it up so you can see what I mean. TIP stays looking fine so you know he was a fashion hit for me too.

Tameka Foster has reportedly suffered complications while in a Brazilian hospital after "routine surgery." Routine meaning plastic...you have to provide real definitions for the Hollyweird people. Damn, what were you getting now Meka? If it wasn't to work on that man face or Adam's apple then it wasn't worth it. Okay that's mean but she is a HOT MESS. It was all hugs and love at Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy party and then Grammy night, the reports began coming in that both C.Breezy and Rih had cancelled their appearance on the show. Speculations were circulating all night and E news finally reported that Chris Brown had been involved in a domestic violence altercation with an unidentified woman. Immediately, I knew that Chris had pulled an IKE and TINA on Rih. Reports say that Chris Brown and the victim (whose name can remain confidential because of the domestic violence case pending but we all know who it is) were having an argument in the car at Hancock Park during the early hours of Sunday morning. Then the argument escalated into something physical outside of the vehicle. Brown was not at the scene when the cops arrived but the woman identified Breezy as her attacker. What is the world coming to? STRAIGHT UP! First I hear that TI once was bangin Tiny's head up against metal racks in stores and now this....WTF?

This is surprising behavior for the 19 year old megastar because Chris had talked to the press in the past about his stepfather being abusive to his mother and how much it terrified him. But now it looks like he must have taking something from dude and could not handle his anger. Chris did turn himself in to the police and was charged for felony assault and battery. He was released on a $50,000 bond and then Rih's publicist released a statement saying that "she was fine". Chris' court date has been scheduled for March 5th. As the story develops, I will be sure to keep you posted.

They were all smiles not too long ago until Beyonce got on TV singing Etta James' classic, AT LAST, to the new president and the first lady. Etta James has always been known as a fiesty character but now she has shown us by she let everyone knows that Beyonce was about to get her bootylicious booty kicked for sing her ish. She said that she could not stand Ms. Beyonce and the audacity of her to get on stage and as she states, "start singing my song that I've been singing FOREVER." I can't help but agree with Ms. James. Now just cuz you played her in a movie does not mean you are her and while you are the hottest chick in the game right now, Mrs. Etta is a certified legend in the game.

Later Mrs. James said that she was joking but we all know there is a little truth behind dem jokes. Reports are also circulating that Beyonce spent the whole day crying after hearing Etta's comment. Dry your eyes boo boo..it's all good.

The Grammy Special aired last night on CBS and the artist with the highest nomination of the night, Album of the Year, was interviewed. Lil Wayne recently sat down with Ms. Katie as he referred to her throughout the interview and he quickly let her know that he is a "gangsta" who could care less what everyone thinks about him. I think he must have a few cups of the sizzzzurp and definitely hit some of the weed that he allegedly uses for "medicinal purposes". Even Katie had to hit up with a "Yeah right." I did enjoy this interview, Katie Couric is a cool W chick and well Weezy told her about his many loves: music, smoke, his kids, and bowling. Ms. Erykah Badu and yet another musician boo, Jay Electronica, celebrated the birth of their daughter, Mars Merkaba. This is Jay's first child so he absolutely ecstatic and Ms. Badu is feel the same but has two other children from previous relationships. Her son, Seven, was fathered by Andre 3000 and her daughter,Puma,was fathered by the D.O.C. I can't even hate cuz I love me some creative men too girl! I love Ms. Badu strays from conventional, she had the baby in her home in BK au natural with a midwife. MISS THANG IS A STRAIGHT SOLDIER! She even felt obliged to update her fans online as she went into labor.

Also we got a couple of ladies expecting, one classy and well the other one, her man is just trashy. :)

KLS aka Kimora Lee Simmons and her dark piece of chocolatte, Djimon Hounsou, are expecting their first child later this year. She actually just finalized the divorce with Russell so this is perfect timing. Word has it that the two have already secretly married but nothing has yet to be confirmed. I am sure Ming and Aoki are ready to put another diva in training or will they have a boy running the show now? Just kiddin, you know Aoki will always RUN IT! I love those little cuties.

Also she spoke of her uncertainty about playing the role and doubted that she had what it took to pull off the role and to be honest, I am still a little uncertain. Today I have a dream for Barack Obama. A dream that will forever change all of us, a history making dream, a moment in our lives when we all feel a part of something bigger than all of us, and a dream to progress even further than we have already come.

Over the last few days, I have become increasingly emotional about this possibility that our country will elect the first African American president in history. I am anxious, excited, nervous, tearful, and proud that I am able to witness this moment. More importantly, I am happy for my parents, my friend's parents and grandparents who experienced the civil rights movement and struggled for us to have our place in society. Many of them expressing the same exact words, "I NEVER THOUGHT I'D LIVE TO SEE THE DAY." Well fortunately they have lived and the day is here when a black man is on the ballot for the highest office in the nation. And the fact that he is not just any "black man" on the ballot but he is the "right man" on the ballot who just happens to be black is extraordinary. This election has cause many members of the older generation to reminisce on the times when they experienced ultimate hatred and the pains of racism. They also reflected on the unity they once possessed to overcome in a nation that not so long ago seemed unwilling to change. They even looked down at their tired feet that once marched for this victory that we are experiencing today.

I have a dream today.

I woke up this morning shouting to the top of my lungs, "A Change is Going to Come". Then I let Sam Cooke sing it to me and the tears welled up in my eyes. We were finally here and I felt the undeniably overwhelming power of this election day. I put on my BARACK THE VOTE shirt and headed out to work. I must have passed three or four polling centers with lines wrapped around the building...Whites, Blacks, Hispanics, Asians...all the agents of change! I saw the yuppie brought to the neighborhood through gentrification in line to vote and chatting it up with the blue collar brother from down the block who is voting for the first time because he wants to make a difference. The unity of a nation felt alive again as people from all walks of life were in line with a common purpose and goal, CHANGE!

I dream that today the words spoken on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial will resound loudly across this nation and in the minds of voters who are still uncertain about voting for a black man. Shakir Stewart, Executive Vice President of Def Jam, was found Saturday afternoon in the bathroom of his home in Marietta, GA with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A father and soon-to-be husband with a glowing career on the rise decided to take his own life. Shakir was a Morehouse alum and known by several of my friends, he has gradually climbed his way up in the music industry signing megastars such as Young Jeezy and Rick Ross to Def Jam. In June, he took over the position as president when Jay-Z stepped down.

On CNN.com, a statement released Sunday on behalf of his fiancee, Michelle Rivers, and his family said, "Over the past several weeks, Shakir's behavior was inconsistent with the man we all know and love," the statement said. "As much as we all tried to help him, Shakir was in deep pain and largely suffering in silence."

This is truly a tragedy and my prayers go out to his family and friends.

She was honored by Arts Horizon on its 30th anniversary. I intended on being in attendance but due to some work obligations I missed out on the festivities. A little FYI about Charles is that he is an amazing cook. While in the Hamptons this past summer, he made the best damn turkey burger I have ever had...STRAIGHT UP! Well anyway back to the event, it was a great occasion for a great cause...the Arts Horizon places artists in school, after-school programs, class workshops, and training throughout the city! His body was found only 5 blocks from where they found the suspect and he was in Jason Hudson's (one of the victims from Friday) missing white Suburban. The Jennifer Hudson Tragedy!

On Friday, Jennifer Hudson's whole life was turned upside down. Her mother, Darnell Donerson aka Doll, and her brother, Jason Hudson, were found murdered in their South Side Chicago residence. They were both victims of what appeared to be a domestic dispute and the coroner has reported that they were both killed by a multiple gunshot wounds. On top of all of this, there was an Amber alert put out that evening for her nephew, Julian King, who is the son of her sister, Julia. Unfortunately today, the news broke that the Amber Alert has been called off and they have found the missing boy's body in the stolen truck of Jason Hudson. This is just an awful tragedy that is so incredibly sad and heart breaking. I have prayed all weekend for her family and had hoped for the safe return of her nephew. I know that God makes no mistakes but at the same time, I can't help but cry for her and imagine the pain that has been afflicted upon her and her family.
The worst part about it all is that it appears to be the result of some serious foolery. The suspect in the case is Julia's estranged husband, William Balfour, 27, who had also just finished a seven-year stint for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking, and possession of a stolen vehicle. Reports are saying that the whole thing began because William sold Julia's car and it became a back and forth battle between the two over the car. This dispute led to several threats by William including one in which he said that "he would kill her whole family." Those threats were taken lightly and never reported. The murder scene also shows that it was apparently someone who knew all the victims because there was no force entry into the house. Three lives have now been taken over what appears to be a petty beef about a car...this is absolute nonsense to me and so many others.

This incident also makes you reflect on life and how in a blink of an eye, everything can change. Jennifer Hudson is an Oscar Award-Winning actress who has won critical acclaim for her roles in "Dreamgirls", "Sex and the City", and her latest project, "The Secret Life of Bees." She has just released her first album which was self-titled, Jennifer Hudson, and had also recently become engaged to David Otunga aka Punk from "I Love New York." Jennifer's father passed away when she was a teenager so she shared a "special bond" with her mother and siblings. Now she only has one remaining member of her immediate family but as Julia stated in her press conference, "We are a God-fearing family so all we can do is pray." I can't help but to pray that this test that God has given Jennifer and her sister will make them stronger as well as challenge Jennifer to strive even harder as a person and a performer. She is a talent that I know possess the strength to overcome this tribulation in time and eventually soar further than she ever imagined. My prayers remain with her and her family at this unforgettably melancholy moment of her life.

Finally this chick is on board...it is coming down to the wire and Barack is showing that he is quite the contender in this race. Hillary and Bill have been on the campaign trail as of late to let the unsure people know that Barack is the man for the job. He will lead this country out of the negativity, corruption, fear, and economic disaster that we are currently in.

Barack has to leave the campaign for a couple of days and will be in Hawaii on Thursday and Friday to tend to his incredibly ill grandmother, Madelyn Payne Dunham. He has given a lot of credit to her for his success and says one of his biggest regrets was not seeing his mother before she died. Barack is not going to take that risk with his grandmother but no worries, Sarah Palin is not going to get any smarter and McCain is not going to get any younger. I have seriously been waiting and fell in love with her after Need U Bad...she is not coming any less than I thought she would. She is only 21 and I know she definitely has an amazing career ahead of her. Her voice is effortless and has been compared to Lauryn Hill but JAZMINE SULLIVAN stands on her own in my mind.
